Rodney Mullen was born in Florida, was given his first skateboard on his tenth birthday, and got sponsored just nine months later! Being confined to his own backyard by his dad, who wanted him to take up golf, didn’t slow his progression. It just resulted in Rodney developing a unique, ultra-technical style of skating that has become his trademark and gained him international recognition.

Words can’t really do justice to his natural ability on a skateboard….what can you say about the man that invented kickflips! He’s been world freestyle champion 35 times over and continues to blow minds with every video part he releases.

Having started and run several skateboard companies such as A-Team, Tensor and Enjoi, Rodney remains at the centre of the street skating world after a quarter of a century as a pro.

Basically, he’s ridiculously good at skateboarding.
